“Which?’s research clearly shows the devastating impact the cost of living crisis is having on households up and down the country – with an estimated two million households missing a housing, bill, credit card or loan payment in the last month alone and one in 10 consumers skipping meals because of rising food prices.
“It is absolutely vital that the government continues to ensure that help is getting to the most financially vulnerable – a number which is only likely to grow as the cost of living crisis worsens.
“Essential businesses – such as supermarkets, energy suppliers and broadband firms – must also do everything they can to support struggling customers and make it easier to find the best value deal on offer.”
