Which? comments as UK agrees trade deal with Japan

Sue Davies, Head of Consumer Protection at Which?, said:

“This trade deal between the UK and Japan is a significant moment. The government now needs to make it clear what this deal will mean for consumers – in terms of enhanced choice, lower prices, upholding rights and crucially how it builds on UK standards.

“It is vital that consumer interests are at the centre of government trade policy as the success of future deals will be judged on what they deliver for millions of ordinary people in their everyday lives, not just the export opportunities they provide.”
