Which? responds to December rail timetable change being scaled back

Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:

“The announcement that planned improvements will be delayed will be a blow for passengers who continue to be the ones who lose out. Passengers shouldn’t have to suffer from consistent delays and cancellations or slower roll-outs of planned programmes due to poor and inefficient planning.

“We need a rail industry that works for passengers, not just for train companies. As a bare minimum the Government must introduce automatic compensation.”
