Which? response to automatic compensation in rail call by Labour’s Chris Bryant

Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:

“More than a year on from our super complaint, train companies are still taking far too long to deliver crucial improvements to compensation for long-suffering passengers.

“As people increasingly use smart technology to buy tickets, the rail industry must improve automatic compensation. If the industry fails to act, then the Government must be prepared to step in.”
