Which? appoints Head of Campaigns and Strategic Communications
David Chaplin joins Which? as Head of Campaigns and Strategic Communications from agency Hill+Knowlton Strategies.
David will lead strategic communications for Which?’s advocacy division, continuing to build its impact in making the lives of consumers easier, safer and fairer.
He joins Which? from H+K where he led on media relations and campaigns strategy. Prior to that he was director of strategic communications at Britain Stronger in Europe, of which he was a founder member.
Earlier in his career, Chaplin worked for the Labour Party, Business for New Europe, MHP Communications and the NSPCC.
Which? Group Director of Communications, Charlotte Cool, said of the appointment: “David joins us at a pivotal time for Which? with a brief to shape our future campaigning ambitions in the context of rapidly evolving consumer needs. He will bring a fresh perspective as well as his varied experience across politics, campaigning and communications in both commercial and third sectors.”
