Which? response to banks and building societies using high rate numbers for flood support

Which? executive director, Richard Lloyd, said:

“While the banks and building societies may be pledging support to flood victims it’s unfair that some banks and insurance companies are using high rate numbers for their helplines.

“It’s unacceptable that flood victims could be left out of pocket when calling for help and we want to see all companies and public bodies to play fair and drop these costly numbers as soon as possible.”
