“A Parliamentary trailblazer in championing the rights of consumers” – Which? tribute following the death of Lord Geoffrey Howe

“We are very sad to learn of the death of Lord Geoffrey Howe, who was a Parliamentary trailblazer in championing the rights of consumers for more than five decades.

“He was a staunch supporter of Which? as our longest-serving President, after becoming the country’s first ever Minister for Consumer Affairs.

“Our thoughts are with his wife Elspeth and their family at this time.”
