“The banks shouldn’t be leaving their customers high and dry when bricks and mortar branches close. Over the coming days, we will continue to work closely with the Government, industry and regulator to ensure the banks keep their promise to maintain access to vital banking services for all, particularly the most vulnerable consumers who often rely on face-to-face contact in branches.”
