“By itself, a better switching service won’t deliver the transformation in banking that consumers need” – Which? response to CMA banking update

Vickie Sheriff, Director of Campaigns and Communications at Which?, said:

“Moves to make switching bank accounts easier and give consumers better information and greater confidence in the switching process are welcome. However, if people can’t easily compare the costs of their account and bank services with others on the market, they won’t know if they could be better off switching provider. By itself, a better switching service won’t deliver the transformation in banking that consumers need.”
