“Can be worrying when a company goes in to administration but you still have consumer rights” – Which? response to Phones 4U going into administration
A Which? spokesperson said:
“It can be worrying when a company goes in to administration but you still have consumer rights.
“If you have recently placed an order with Phones 4U which hasn’t been delivered, then it has said your order will be cancelled and your money will be refunded. Phones 4U has also promised that existing contracts will be honoured, with networks continuing to provide services to customers.
“If you have bought mobile phone insurance, check the small print carefully. Often it’s provided by a third party in which case you shouldn’t be affected and can still make a claim.”
