“Ensure consumers pay a fair price for their energy” – Which? response to Hinkley power plant decision.
Alex Neill, Which? Director of Policy and Campaigns, said:
“Energy prices are still one of the top financial concerns for consumers so, with the cost of investment passed on to consumers through their energy bills, people will want assurances from the Government that costs won’t be allowed to spiral out of control. The Government must push ahead with reforms to improve transparency and competition in the energy market and ensure consumers pay a fair price for their energy.”
