Which? executive director Richard Lloyd, said:

“Many pensioners feel they’ve had a raw deal in retirement, which is why we’ve repeatedly called for annuity sales to be investigated. If the regulator finds evidence of mis-selling then annuity providers could be hit with a very big bill. It’s only fair that the regulator then ensures providers give people what they’re owed in a quick and straight forward way.”
