“It’s clear this alone won’t be enough to tackle the dominance of the big banks” – Which? response to the latest figures from Bacs on the Current Account Switch Service

Which? executive director, Richard Lloyd, said:

​“While it’s encouraging to see people are using the Current Account Switch Service, it’s clear this alone won’t be enough to tackle the dominance of the big banks. The Competition and Markets Authority’s investigation must go much further than just making it easier to switch. We need to see far reaching reforms that really will improve trust and increase competition across the market.” ​
