Response to RBS Group introducing geographic rate or freephone numbers for customer helplines
Richard Lloyd, Which? executive director said:
‘We have been campaigning for companies to end costly calls so we applaud the RBS Group for introducing new geographic rate or freephone helplines for its customers.
“Consumers shouldn’t have to pay a premium to ask a question or make a complaint. RBS and NatWest customers can now have the confidence that their call will be cheaper or even free. Other banks must follow suit.”
