Which? executive director, Richard Lloyd, said:
“Suppliers should be stepping up their efforts to reunite customers with their cash ​as some of the biggest companies have been found to be sitting on millions of pounds.

“The energy firms must ensure they are doing everything possible to make it quick and simple for their customers to get back their money when they close accounts.”​
