“The Government must now do much more to set out how consumer interests will be put at the heart of their objectives” – Which? response to Prime Minister’s speech on Brexit

“Consumer spending is worth almost £100bn each month to the economy and consumer confidence is vital for stability and growth. The Government must now do much more to set out how consumer interests will be put at the heart of their objectives. It must ensure that consumers are well represented in the negotiations, prevent people from being squeezed by any price rises, and protect standards and consumer rights.”
