“Volkswagen customers in the UK will be dismayed that they are not being treated fairly” – Which? response to US Volkswagen customers being awarded settlement

Vickie Sheriff, Which? Director of Campaigns & Communications, said: “Volkswagen customers in the UK will be dismayed that they are not being treated fairly, when customers in the US are being awarded high amounts of compensation.

“Many drivers are still no closer to finding out about when their cars will be fixed, and will rightly question why nothing is on the table for the 1.2 million owners affected in this country. The Government must do more to stand up for the interests of UK consumers.”
