“This easing of restrictions for international travel will provide some clarity for Welsh holidaymakers and will mean those flying from airports in England will not have to worry about different restrictions affecting England and Wales.
“Of course many people will still feel a trip abroad is too risky, but with holidays and flights taking place they now won’t be able to claim a refund. It’s important holiday firms remain sensitive to this and continue to offer flexible rebooking options.
“Anyone looking to make a new booking should make sure they book with a reputable company that has proven it can be trusted with their money, as many major operators still owe millions in refunds for cancelled holidays.”
