Which? comments as FCDO removes advice warning against travel to popular holiday destinations including Spain, Greece and France
Rory Boland, Which? Travel Editor, said:
“Given how quickly international travel restrictions can change, buying decent travel insurance has never been more important.
“Which? research has consistently found that travel insurance policies offering cover for cancellation due to changes to FCDO advice are rare, so the lifting of advice against travel to popular holiday destinations such as Spain, Greece and France will be welcome news to travellers still hoping to get away this summer.
“With coronavirus cases rising again, those planning a trip abroad should make sure they choose an insurance policy that covers them if they are forced to cancel a trip because they are told to self-isolate by the NHS Test and Trace app.”
