“Which?’s research demonstrates the significant impact of the cost of living crisis on millions of households across the country, with six in 10 telling us their household had to make an adjustment to cover their essential spending in the last month, taking measures including cutting back on essentials or dipping into savings.
“The government must act to ensure that help continues to reach the most financially vulnerable as quickly as possible, particularly as this is a group only likely to grow as the crisis develops.
“Providers of essential services such as supermarkets and companies in the energy and broadband sectors must also do everything they can to help consumers find the best value deals, and offer support to those customers that are struggling financially.”
