Which? comments as the CMA announces Nationwide will refund customers for PPI breaches

Adam French, Which? Consumer Rights Expert, said:

“The PPI scandal continues to erode trust in the industry – and this is yet another example of a bank failing to act as it should.

“PPI was mis-sold to millions of people for more than two decades, and since then billions of pounds have been repaid. These failings further demonstrate why the CMA must be given more powers to take strong action against firms for consumer breaches.”
