Which? comments on House of Lords’ concerns regarding private test providers for travel

Rory Boland, Which? Travel Editor, said:

“The House of Lords is right to raise concerns about the government’s list of test providers for international travel. Travellers should be able to find a reliable and affordable testing company easily, but they risk being exposed to excessive or misleading prices and to companies that cannot provide testing services at all.

“The government must urgently take action to ensure accreditation of test providers is robust, and that it is listing up-to-date, accurate and accessible information about tests and their relevant costs. Along with effective regulation, the government must also provide clear information about consumer protections for people buying tests, and what they can do if things go wrong.”
