Which? comments on the risk of buying Euros tickets from unofficial sellers
Adam French, Which? Consumer Rights Expert, said:
“With excitement among England fans reaching fever pitch it’s understandable that supporters are desperate to get their hands on tickets for the remaining Euros matches.
“We’re seeing a number of websites and secondary ticket sellers offering tickets for sale for hundreds of pounds. But fans need to be aware there’s no guarantee they will get their tickets or entry to the match if they buy from an unofficial seller and they could be left seriously out of pocket.
“Anyone who isn’t lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket through the official website might be better off saving their cash and enjoying the game in a fan zone, beer green or with friends and family.”
