Which? position on Ofcom Connected Nations Report
Alex Neill, Which? Managing Director of Home Products and Services, said:
“Ofcom’s latest proposals on increasing mobile coverage fall well short of what is needed to help millions of people who struggle every day to get connected – and these plans could mean they have to wait years before seeing any improvements.
“With consumers rightly concerned about their ability to use their phone following the recent O2 outage, Ofcom should review its position and set out stricter rules for mobile operators to ensure that those already suffering from poor coverage are not left behind.”
