“Arcadia customers will rightly be frustrated by this move, especially as many may have been gearing up to spend their gift vouchers, as stores reopened just in time for the Christmas rush.
“Anyone with a voucher for a retailer under the Arcadia Group should look to spend their gift card as soon as possible, as further changes may prevent them from being able to use it at all.
“Gift cards can be an easy option for Christmas gifts, however people should carefully consider whether they are a good choice this year, given the state of the retail sector. Gift cards and vouchers could lose their value if the business goes under.”
