Which? responds as ORR launches a review into rail compensation claims companies

Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:

“Train companies make it too confusing and difficult for passengers trying to claim compensation for delays and cancellations so it is no surprise that passengers are turning to claims companies to get what they are owed.

“The Government must introduce fully automatic compensation for passenger delays and cancellations so that they get what they are entitled to rather than, in some cases, handing over a substantial chunk of the money to a claims management firm.”
