Which? responds to changes to quarantine restrictions for low risk countries

Rory Boland, Editor of Which? Travel, said:

“The government has caused mass confusion over holidays in recent weeks, and while a traffic light system will be welcome news to some holidaymakers, many will still be left questioning if restrictions in other countries will prevent them from travelling, and if so, if they will be able to get their money back.

“Others are still very reluctant to travel while coronavirus remains a risk, so holiday companies and airlines should ensure they continue to offer their customers flexible rebooking options. If the government is to get people travelling again successfully, it needs to restore confidence in the sector by providing support for the industry and working with the regulator to ensure companies are abiding by the law on refunds for cancelled travel.”
