Which? responds to Easyjet restarting more international flights

Rory Boland, Editor of Which? Travel, said:

“Easyjet’s decision to resume more flights means thousands risk being stuck in a position where they are unable to get their money back for flights booked before the pandemic, even if they still cannot fly or rebook for another date without potentially putting their health at risk.

“This is on top of the countless Easyjet passengers who have told us that they still haven’t received a refund from the airline for flights cancelled during the UK’s lockdown, with some left waiting months for their money to be returned.

“The regulator cannot continue to sit on its hands with so many passengers already waiting on the refunds they are due. It must urgently use its powers to hold airlines to account, rather than letting them return to normal and get away with their actions.”
