Rory Boland, Editor of Which? Travel, said:
“If flights are to restart, passengers first need the confidence that if they book them, and travel restrictions disrupt their trip, the airline will refund them within a reasonable timeframe or rebook their journey for free.
“Some airlines continue to hold on to billions in customer cash for cancelled flights. While Wizzair, which has already restarted a dozen flights, is charging passengers a fee to rebook or cancel them even though they aren’t supposed to travel to the airport to board the plane and the destination country has banned entry by UK nationals.”
