Which? responds to latest ORR statistics on passenger rail usage
Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:
“This increase in passengers, despite the summer chaos, shows more people are becoming reliant on rail travel. People have told us they want trains that run on time, a good travel experience and a say in how their services are run.
“The upcoming Government rail review must put passenger experience at the heart of any solution to the broken rail system.
“The Government must also introduce fully automatic compensation, ensuring more passengers get the money they are owed.”
