Which? responds to launch of CMA’s digital markets study

Caroline Normand, Which? Director of Advocacy, said:

“We have concerns that Facebook and Google’s stranglehold on the digital advertising market could be harming millions of consumers, including by driving up the price of some goods and services.

“This market study must lead to a better understanding of the impact and consequences of the dominance of a few tech giants and be used by government and regulators to ensure the balance of power shifts back towards the consumers whose data is being exploited.”
