Which? responds to Ofcom’s investigation into BT

Rocio Concha, Director of Policy and Advocacy at Which?, said:

“It’s concerning that there are still households who don’t have access to a decent broadband connection, especially when it has become a lifeline for so many during the pandemic, so it’s right that Ofcom is investigating this issue.

“If BT has been overestimating the cost of installing broadband for people in more remote areas, the regulator must be prepared to take strong action as this could be preventing some of the most cut-off households from accessing vital online services.”
