Which? response as Britons ‘to face curbs on travel to EU countries’ after Brexit transition period

Rory Boland, Editor of Which? Travel, said:

“We have previously been warned that travellers could face disruption after the end of the transition period, and it appears this could be further exacerbated by the pandemic. A ban could affect thousands of British travellers who already had trips booked to EU member states for early next year, and could make it extremely difficult for them to get their money back if they now can’t travel.

“Millions of people were left struggling for refunds when airlines cancelled flights at the start of the pandemic. If these travel restrictions to the EU are introduced at the start of the year, airlines must do the right thing and offer flexible rebooking options or allow customers to cancel for a full refund if they can not travel.”
