Which? response as Scottish Government to launch legal services consultation

Rocio Concha, Which? Director of Policy and Advocacy, said:

“Which? first launched a super-complaint about the Scottish legal services market 14 years ago, so this consultation is a positive step towards the much-needed reforms needed to deliver quality and transparency for consumers.

“It is vital that these changes go way beyond mere tinkering with the failed system of self-regulation, as consumers will only have confidence in a complaints system that is truly independent of the legal profession.”
