Which? response as Virgin and O2 merger referred for in-depth investigation by the CMA

Rocio Concha, Director of Policy and Advocacy at Which?, said:

“The proposed merger of two of the biggest players in the UK telecoms market could have a big impact on consumers, so it’s right that the competition regulator carefully reviews the situation.

“This merger should only be allowed to go ahead if it delivers good outcomes for consumers such as better service or more competitive pricing.”
