Which? response to CMA enforcement action on hotel booking sites
Alex Neill, Which? Managing Director of Home Products and Services, said:
“We’ve previously highlighted the worst excesses of these websites including pressure selling, dodgy rankings and discount claims and sneaky hidden charges, so it’s right that the CMA is stepping in.
“Consumers have to be able to trust the information provided when shopping around online for a good deal and know that strong action will be taken against companies that break the rules.”
