Which? response to CMA car hire enforcement action

Alex Neill, Which? Managing Director of Home Products and Services, said:

“Car hire companies must be upfront and transparent about any charges that consumers will face so they can make an informed choice at the time of booking.

“It’s good to see the CMA take action to tackle this problem. However, our recent investigation into the extortionate amount of money some people are having to pay for hire car repairs shows the industry still has more work to do to prevent customers being ripped off”.
