Which? response to food industry failing to meet 5% sugar reduction challenge

“Our research shows that consumers want the Government to help them eat more healthily by actively encouraging food companies to reduce sugar, salt and fat levels.

“While it’s good to see some progress, any reductions need to be part of a wider Government strategy – which includes more action on unhealthy food promotions as well as the use of traffic light nutrition labelling by all food companies.”
