Which? response to further Northern Rail delays and cancellations
Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:
“It’s incredulous that months on from the May timetable we are still seeing this disruption. Passengers are running out of patience having to put up with more delays, cancellations and dangerous overcrowding, with dire knock-on effects for their everyday lives.
“The Secretary of State needs to urgently find a resolution to end this chaos. If the Government is to have any hope of restoring the trust of passengers, automatic compensation should be introduced as a bare minimum.”
