Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:
“The Government is finally acknowledging the appalling levels of disruption that long suffering customers have been subjected to – but passengers need swift action to put an end to the ongoing chaos now.
“It’s wholly unacceptable if train companies are putting up barriers to claiming compensation, the Government must step in and ensure all providers introduce automatic compensation so passengers finally get what they are owed.”
