Which? response to Insurance Fraud Bureau research on people’s worries about personal data being stolen

“Our research has previously found a treasure trove of stolen data being traded by criminals on the dark web.

“It’s really important for consumers to take steps to protect themselves from scams, for example by setting strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication on online accounts where possible. It is also worth getting to know the latest tactics used by fraudsters by using free services and tools such as Which? scam alerts.”
