Which? response to Jeremy Hunt speech on social care

“Hundreds of people who have told us about their struggle to find a care home place will expect the Government’s Green Paper to deliver fundamental reforms so that everyone has access to high quality, affordable care.

“It’s vital that the Government demonstrates its commitment to helping older people in the care system by acting now to strengthen consumer protections on unfair care home fees, contracts and evictions, which are having devastating consequences for vulnerable people and their families.
