Which? response to launch of Healthwatch network

Which? executive director, Richard Lloyd said:

“People often doubt whether their views make a difference to the way local health services are run – for example over half of patients told us they do not complain about their GP when they’re dissatisfied, because they believe nothing will be done. We hope Healthwatch encourages people to speak out when they experience problems with health and social care services and campaigns to ensure that their views – good or bad – are used to improve local services.”
