Which? response to Ofcom’s new nuisance call guide and research

Richard Lloyd, Which? executive director said:

“It’s encouraging that the volume of unwanted PPI calls is falling, but millions of us are still being plagued by nuisance calls and texts. We urge everyone to report calls so that regulators can identify companies who break the rules, and we then need tough enforcement action to tackle this everyday menace. Anyone can easily report a call for free at www.which.co.uk/callingtime

Notes to Editors

Which? launched its Calling Time on Nuisance Calls campaign, after finding eight in 10 people had received a nuisance call on their land line in the previous month. Eight in 10 people found these calls an annoying interruption, while one third felt intimidated by them.

Over 112,000 supporters have backed the Which? campaign and you can log your complaint about an unwanted call or text through the Which? Nuisance calls complaint tool
