Which? response to PAC report on Equitable Life compensation

Responding to the Public Accounts Committee report on Equitable Life compensation, Which? executive director, Richard Lloyd, said:

“This damning report on the Treasury’s action to date is even more reason why the Government must now step up and do everything possible to make sure people don’t miss out on compensation they are rightly owed.

“The Equitable Life Payment Scheme must act quickly and if they are unable to compensate those eligible in advance of the deadline, it must be extended.  If you believe you are entitled to compensation, you should contact to the Scheme to check your eligibility.”
