Which? response to report by Independent Age showing two-thirds of MPs in England believe older people do not have enough high-quality care homes to choose from

Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:

“These findings echo our own research which shows the vast majority of council areas in England could see a shortfall in care home places by the end of this Parliament unless urgent action is taken.

“The Government must now ensure that its Green Paper on care delivers the fundamental reforms needed to secure high quality, affordable care for older people – both now and in the future.”
