Which? response to the European Commission’s ‘New Deal for Consumers’

Alex Neill, Which? Managing Director of Home Products and Services, said:

“Consumers deserve to have a clear and simple way to take action against companies when they are found to have broken the law and caused harm to many people. The current process doesn’t work so it’s a positive step that consumer organisations could have the opportunity to take up the cause of the collective, on a representative basis, in order to seek compensation for those affected by the wrongdoing.”
