Which? response to the introduction of automatic compensation for GTR passengers

Pete Moorey, Head of Campaigns, Which? said:

“Claiming compensation from train companies is often frustrating, so it’s good news that passengers using smartcards will be automatically compensated when they suffer delays and cancellations.

“All train companies should be making it much easier for passengers to get the compensation they are owed, and introduce automatic compensation where possible. If they fail to do so, then the Government must step in.”
