Which? response to the ORR’s £5 million fine for GTR

Alex Hayman, Which? Managing Director of Public Markets, said:

“It’s about time that the regulator showed its teeth by taking strong action over the abject failures of last year’s timetable chaos, which caused appalling disruption to thousands of people.

“This fine will send a clear message that the shambles of last year can never be repeated, and that train companies must provide their passengers with all the information they need about any delays or cancellations.”
