Alex Neill, Which? Managing Director of Home and Legal services said:

“If your flight is delayed or cancelled due to severe weather conditions, it’s generally treated as ‘extraordinary circumstances’, and so you won’t get compensation. However, you are entitled to meals, refreshments, accommodation and hotel transfers depending on the length of your flight and delay.”
